I miss the days of supermodels like Christy and Cindy and Claudia and Tatjana. They were terrific. You recognized them, and it was fun watching them morph into different looks. Bring them back!!
And I miss the supermodels on magazine covers.
I have read Cosmopolitan magazine since the glory days of Helen Gurley Brown and photography by Francesco Scavullo. They used to use real models on the covers, now it’s only celebrities.
And the models of today have lost the grace and class of the Cheryl Tiegs and Beverly Johnsons‘. Even though they were models, they always seemed like real women. Now they are propelled to the stratosphere and they don’t deserve it.
I too miss the models of yesterday. Most of them can still strut circles around these new ones!
