Please pray for Lucky7 – the runt of Cossie. I did not sleep. He is mourning.
I first took him away 3 hours ago for Cossie seemed to have shuffled him aside. Then I hand fed him, put him in a small basket with heating pad and a heater next to him. I slept for a little bit and I was woken up by him. He was breathing hard, opened his mouth widely, and he cried.
I gave him back to Cossie. She is licking him for now.
I don’t know what would happen. Is Cossie gonna kill him? What is happening? (I can’t type, again I am crying now)
Lucky7 has a strong character. He fights for his life. He is also very stubborn – which tells me he is strong and is a fighter.
I better hurry and publish this. Please send your prayer – I am feeling as if one of my new born is sick or dying. It is just a puppy – a special one.
Soulful, thank you for the pointer. I then searched on net and learn that TLC is dehydrated. It is 3 am now. He was original panting. So I gave him a big tube of milk and H20. Now he is resting peaceful. I will get some pedi-lite tomorrow. Also I have advised Dave. He can possible do something.
Cossie is stressed too. She does not eat much for she worries so much about the puppies. She does drink whenever she goes potty.
It is amazing to see those puppies like swimmer to their mommy. They are blind, yet they know where to go. Mother nature is mind boggling.

If the puppes nose is moist then he is doing good hot and dry is not a good thing. You are doing wonderful chinadoll and that little puppy is going to make it because of you!
My mom bred cats and she had to do the same thing with a few batches of kittens..She would get a new female and they just didn’t get the mommy thing. Thinking about you.. Bunchie

Chinadoll, I know your heart is breaking. I’m sure became very very attached while staying away at night and during the day to care for him. He was such a lucky little feller to have you comfort him during his short time here with you and us.
My heart hurts, we kind of went thru this with you. So I can’t even imagine how you must feel.
I truly believe everything happens for a reason and there was a good reason TLC has gone on to puppy heaven. Maybe, had he lived…things could have been really bad for him.
He is in pain no more. Bless you Chinadoll for making his time here comfortable and thank you for sharing this journey with us.

Oh, Chinadoll, I hate this part of pet care! I just had my baby (an 85 pound golden retriever) to the vet last Friday. He’d gotten in to some trash and caused major diarrhea, plus he was having seizure like tremors. Good news, he’s doing really well! We will pray for the same for your little pup!

Chinadoll-I’ve been praying for TLC. My heart is breaking for you right now and my eyes are full of tears. You did your best for your baby and he will be missed. He will be waiting for you, his siblings and Cossie on the Rainbow Bridge. I’m so sorry.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

Oh Chinadoll I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and I could feel the tears coming as I was trying to catch up on what was going on. I am sure that TLC knew that he was loved very much before he left you, but now he gives God pleasure. I know that you have the strength to take of Cossie now and the rest of the puppies for you are a very strong person. Bless you.

Thank you for your friend request. I just discovered your blog on the little (runt) puppy. You and he fought to help him live, but he was too fragile to survive. I’m incredibly sad for your loss, but at least he was not alone and for the short time of his life he knew the amazing love of you! I hope Cozzie continues to do well with her other 9 pups. She had a very large litter, and it’s hard to stay healthy and nurse so many pups.

Thank you for your love and caring. You are indeed right on your intuition. Cossie is not eating other than drinking. This morning, her stool was very runny. I like to have her checked out but hubby and Dave afraid for her to get germs in the vet office. My worry shift from TLC to Cossie for now.
