My rescue pup from Texas – Cee Cee – has just had her follow up appointment to re-check for Heartworm. It was negative! Yeah, she can resume her normal activity and live a long, happy and healthy life with us!
I’m so happy. I celebrated by buying her a new bed at Costco! Although, based on her look in the pic, the bed will need some getting used to!!
She is precious and I’m so glad her check up was good. I never ever thought I could love an animal so much. I have 4, but my little Summer, she’s a yorkiepoo….I just couldn’t imagine life without her.
I don’t think it was just the diaper in the other picture-I just think Cee Cee doesn’t like to have her picture taken.

Very cute, Vi! Go sit in her bed with her…she’ll love her new bed smelling like her people-momma!
She may just be a bit overwhelmed by the bed right now but she’ll burrow into it in no time. She may not realize it’s hers and feels like she’s sitting on a piece of furniture that she’s not supposed to. I bet if you put one of your tee shirts or her favorite toy in there, she’ll cozy up to it!
She’s so cute. I’m happy she’s healthy.

lcmiddlesworth I think you‘re right. Everything is still so new to her. She’s afraid of a lot of strange noises. She’s getting better though with lots of love and kisses!

Very glad she got a clean bill of health. I love that she’s a rescue dog, too.
I agree, too… roll around on the bed with her a bit. She’ll get used to it.
