My youth group will be putting together care packages for college students from our church. We are looking for ideas on what to place in the care packages. We have about 20 packages to make, so we hope to not spend a load of money, but have several small ideas that college kids would appreciate. (Parishoners will also write notes to the kids to be placed in the boxes.)
The dollar stores have lots of shower gel gift packs, those are things my radio station used to collect for the older girls.

Having done the care package for college thing a time or two, I always sent healthy snack bars, toiletries, paper, envelopes, stamps and pens.

I work on a college campus and 2 suggestions Microwave Popcorn and Ramen Noodles, they live on the stuff.
